Daniel, 16, is the first born in his family, and in his second year of high school. Daniel’s story has a sad beginning. His father was attacked by some robbers on his way home one night; he was beaten and finally was dropped in water. Daniel’s mother had delivered her second child only 2 days earlier and Daniel was only 2 years old. The family remained hopeless and could not manage even to get their daily bread. Daniel managed to go to primary school through the support of Lalmba, and has gone on to high school. He said he feels like other children with parents despite the fact that his father died, because of Lalmba’s support. Our children’s director reports, “His class work is promising as he works tirelessly in class to get the best of his level. He is happy to join Tembea na Mimi program and he prays for Lalmba.” We hear he is very strong and will be a great addition to the walking team!
