Elizabeth, 40, was leading a very desperate life where she was selling small fish at market, but she wasn’t very successful without adequate capital. Elizabeth cares for her nieces and nephews as well as her own children, since her siblings died of AIDS. The children were not attending school until Lalmba began supporting the family with school supplies, fees and uniforms. She also received a microloan to improve her business.
She writes that she is “very grateful and thankful for Lalmba in U.S.A. for this kind of support. I am ready to walk for Lalmba during Tembea Na Mimi!”
